
Recipe: (for 3)
- 3 pieces of salmon fillets
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp of garlic minced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- Parsley
- Lemon wedges π
- Avocado wedges
- 1 chopped green Bell pepper
- 1 chopped orange or yellow bell pepper
- About 8 mushrooms ( cut into slices)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 cups cooked rice π
- Salt and pepper π§
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large pan over medium high heat put some olive oil. Add the salmon then season it with salt and pepper. Cook for about 6 minutes per side (till itβs just cooked through)
- Remove the salmon from the pan. Add the garlic to the pan. Then add the veggies ( mushrooms and peppers).
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little bit of cold water. Add the water, soy sauce and honey to the pan; bring to a simmer. Then add the cornstarch mix.
- Whisk to combine. Then let it boil for a bit.
- Return the salmon to the pan for 2 min. Remove from heat and cover the pan.
- Serve the rice in a plate then top it with the salmon and some of the sauce.
- Sprinkle with parsley, spring onion and sesame seeds. Serve with lemon wedges and avocado slices.
