Hi, My name is Rimeh. I am a Tunisian computer science student living in the US and this is my story:
Well let’s start from the beginning! I know a lot of you don’t even know where Tunisia is. Tunisia is a small Arab North African country known for its spicy food and especially its spicy pepper paste called “Harrissa”. Tunisian cuisine is a mix of Arab and European cuisine. It’s known for its fast food that can be made at home or bought from most of the fast food restaurants. As a North African country, Tunisia has its own twist on the famous North African food “Couscous”.
Now that I told about my country, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in a family where cooking is an important part of our routine. When my mom taught me how to cook, she had a list of dishes that she was determined to teach me before I got married. Now that I have my own kitchen, I started experimenting with food because why not? So, with all those Tunisian recipes I learned from my mom, I wanted to try some new things and I felt like I am doing really good and that I am enjoying cooking more than I used to. That’s when I decided to share my passion with everyone and started my Instagram (@rimehs.kitchen) and then my blog.
If I tell you more about how much I love cooking, it would take me forever to explain. So, let’s wrap it up and say I hope you enjoy the recipes I share with you and I hope you visit me again for more recipes. Thank you, and welcome to my page!
